Team India Full Schedule: After 74 days of thrilling cricketing action, the super-hit 2023 season of Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) ended on May 28 with MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeating defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) to win the coveted title for record-equaling 5th time. After IPL 2023 got over, team India left for England for IND vs AUS World Test Championship (WTC) Final. Rohit Sharma & Co. will square off against Australia in the WTC Final match at The Oval from 7th to 11th June. After this, India have to play back-to-back series until the ODI World Cup 2023 in October.

A month's break for Indian players after IND vs AUS World Test Championship Final

After participating in IPL 2023, playing back-to-back matches for over two months, team India players left for England to play IND vs AUS World Test Championship Final at The Oval. Meanwhile, it is being reported that the Indian team will most likely be given a month's rest after the WTC Final. According to a report by Cricbuzz, Team India, scheduled to play a three-match ODI home series against Afghanistan from June 20 to 30 this month, is now set to be cancelled. BCCI might take this decision keeping in mind players workload and fitness.

India tour of West Indies in July-August

Team India will tour West Indies next month and from July 12 to August 31, both teams will play two Test matches, three ODIs and a series of 5 T20 matches. If IND vs AFG three-match ODI series gets cancelled, then the Indian team players will get a month's rest ahead of the West Indies tour.

Asia Cup 2023 in September

After India's refusal to tour Pakistan for Asia Cup 2023 in September, there is a dilemma regarding its venue. For this reason, even the schedule for Asia Cup 2023 has not been released yet. A total of 12 ODI matches are to be played in this tournament.

India vs Australia in September-October

After the Asia Cup and before the ODI World Cup, India will play a three-match ODI and five-match T20 series against Australia on home soil. This tour is of high relevance for team India for the preparation of the ODI World Cup.

ICC Men's 2023 ODI World Cup in October-November

India will host ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 right after their home series against Australia. After 12 years, India got the hosting rights for the ODI World Cup. A total of 48 matches will be played in October-November in the mega event on Indian soil in end of November to early December. Year 2023 will end for India with tour to South Africa, which will feature 2 Tests, 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is extending to January 2024.
