SRH vs RR, IPL 2020: Both Warner and Manish Pandey continued Hyderabad's steady start after star opener Bairstow's early departure. Halfway though the innings,Sunrisers Hyderabad were 63 for loss of one wicket. Warner and Pandey soon brought up their fifty-run partnership for the second wicket.

A remarkable bowling effort from Rajasthan Royals restricted Sunrisers Hyderabad to 158/4 at Dubai on Sunday. Skipper David Warner and middle-order batsman Manish Pandey added 70-plus runs for the 2nd wicket after the dismissal of Jonny Bairstow to keep the scoreboard ticking. For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Jonny Bairstow and David Warner started cautiously against the fiery opening spell from Jofra Archer. Both Jofra and spinner Shreyas Gopal kept a tight grip on both batters to give away just five runs in the first two overs. Sunrisers Hyderabad had not managed to get the boundaries going in the first 3 overs. India U-19 speedster Karthik Tyagi provides the first breakthrough for Rajasthan Royals as Sanju Samson bagged a stunning catch while diving to remove SRH opener, Jonny Bairstow. Thanks to a bowling change, Ben Stokes bowled the ninth over, his first over, this season and conceded 7 runs off it. Warner ended his over with a blistering boundary over extra-cover.
