The right-handed batter scored an unbeaten 97 off 42 balls against Gujarat Titans in Match 5 of the Indian Premier League 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, March 25, which helped PBKS break a series of records with their total of 243.
PBKS's 243 is now the highest team total for any side in the history of the Indian Premier League, surpassing 233/3 scored by Gujarat Titans against Mumbai Indians back in the 2023 season.
The architects of PBKS's historic total are Shreyas Iyer, Shashank Singh, and Priyansh Arya, as the trio combined for 188 runs off merely 81 balls, with the rest of the side combining for 14 extras and 41 runs off 39 balls.
