Sehwag had given a Hindi analogy to explain the match scenario between MI and KKR, using a reference to 'vada pav' a famous Mumbai delicacy.
The tweet did not sit well with the fans of Rohit Sharma who thought that Viru took a jibe at the Indian captain. Sehwag had tweeted "Moonh se nivala cheen liya ,, sorry vada pav cheen liya. Pat Cummins, one of the most insane display of clean hitting , 15 ball 56"

After these replies became poignant on Sehwag's post, he had to issue a clarification on the same. Sehwag then tweeted the following:
