IPL 2025: Royal Challengers Bengaluru are through to the IPL 2025 Final after registering a historic win over Punjab Kings in the Qualifier 1 match at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur on Thursday, May 29.

With the win, RCB not only made into their first IPL Final since 2016, but also keep their record-breaking winning run on 'away' fixtures alive.

The franchise are now 8/8 this season, and sit one win away (Final) from equalling the all-time record, which is currently held by Kolkata Knight Riders, who won 9 out of their 10 away games in 2014 to record a legendary IPL title triumph.

Phil Salt's First Words After Making Into Consecutive IPL Finals

"Great feeling right now. Obviously, we knew that there was a second bite of the cherry if things didn't go well for us tonight, but it is a good feeling to get to the final in the first attempt. Yeah, it did move a bit. Not sure how much that was because of the wicket. Jamieson was bowling well. Not the worst wicket we have played on, put it that way."

"What came to my head was not to get out to Arshdeep. We played them in two matches in the league stage, and he found two different ways to get me out. I was like, please, god not to Arshdeep (chuckles). I just reacted to the ball."
