RR Vs RCB: Royal Challengers Bengaluru storm to their 4th win in IPL 2025, as a 'Phil Salt Special' downs Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur on Sunday, April 13.

The visitors were handed a tricky target on a surface that was two-paced, and exposed to heat, as RR managed to register 173, thanks to blistering knocks from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhurv Jurel.

In reply, RCB batters made sure they leave no scope of a comeback for the home side, by smashing 65 runs in the powerplay. Phil Salt was the main difference-maker in today's game, as his knock of 65 off 33 balls bashed aside all sorts of scoring rate pressure, and the unbeaten pair of Virat Kohli and Devdutt Paddikal saw the side home.

"Yeah very pleased with my performance especially on the road. The venue was slightly different for me. I spoke about it before the game that I wanted to get my side to a good start and I am happy that I did exactly that today."

"(On facing Jofra Archer) I had a few plans in my mind but he was able to swing the ball a lot. So, I decided that there was one spot in the ground where I can hit the ball. Me and Jofra have a lot of battles in the nets. He has knocked me over more than anyone else. I have faced him the most. Nicely to have the wood on him. We will face them again in a few days time."

"The wicket was a bit slower and lower. I had the opportunity in the powerplay to put a stamp on the game. To be honest, I think Rajasthan batted really well. Our bowlers executed the plans and ensured they hit it straight down the ground. Happy with the overall performance of our team."
