MS Dhoni In Ranchi, Viral Video: Chennai Super Kings' (CSK) title defence came to an end after they succumbed to a 27-run defeat to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in their last league-stage fixture at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday (May 18).
Had the margin of RCB's win anything less than 18 runs, it would have been the Men in Yellow who would have made it to the IPL 2024 Playoffs but that was not to be as Yash Dayal, who had the ball in hand for the final over of the match, held his nerves against the likes of MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja to hand RCB a place in the business end of the tournament.
A day after CSK's exit from the IPL 2024, a viral video shows MS Dhoni in Ranchi. Although ABP Live could not independently verify the clip, in the video Dhoni appears to make an exit from the airport and board his car.

Was This The Last Of MS Dhoni In IPL?
While there are several media reports which speculate that this could be Dhoni's final year in the IPL, there is no official confirmation regarding the same either from the wicketkeeper-batter or the franchise.

However, with him struggling with a few injury concerns from the past two seasons and a mega-auction lined up before IPL 2025, it won't be a surprise if Dhoni does retire to hang up his boots.
