India Women Pacer Mansi Joshi Ruled Out Of Women's T20 Challenge After Testing Positive For Coronavirus

All the Indian players participating in the Women's T20 Challenge are currently in quarantine in Mumbai and will leave for UAE on 21 October. The Women's T20 Challenge will be played between three teams.

Indian women's team pacer Mansi Joshi has been tested positive for the dreaded Coronavirus. As a result, she will not be able to play in the Women's T20 Challenge to be held in UAE from November 4-9. Joshi, 27, is in quarantine in Dehradun. Joshi is a member of the Velocity team, led by Mithali Raj.

According to ESPNcricinfo, uncapped player Meghna Singh has been included in the squad in place of Joshi. The 27-year-old will not be able to go to Mumbai where the Indian players participating in the Women's T20 Challenge were supposed to gather before departure.

All the Indian players participating in the Women's T20 Challenge are currently in quarantine in Mumbai and will leave for UAE on 21 October. The Women's T20 Challenge will be played between three teams. Supernovas captain is Harmanpreet Kaur. Smriti Mandhana has been given the captaincy of the Trailblazers and Mithali Raj will have to captain the Velocity team.

Apart from the Indian players, women players from England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh and New Zealand will also participate in the tournament.

Apart from all these countries, Thailand's Nattahakan Chantam will also take part in it, who became the first cricketer for his country to score a half century in the T20 World Cup. Four matches will be played in the T-20 Challenge.

All the players associated with the tournament will leave for UAE on 22 October, where they will have to stay in quarantine for 6 days like IPL teams. After that they will enter the bio safe environment.
