KKR Fan Breaks Down While Speaking To Gautam Gambhir, Video Goes Viral- WATCH

Gautam Gambhir, KKR's two-time IPL-winning captain, was appointed as the mentor of the franchise before IPL 2024.

Gautam Gambhir, the former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain had reunited with the franchise, before the 2024 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). When he was the captain of of the team, Gambhir had led the side two IPL wins and now back as the mentor of the team, Gambhir's inclusion has worked wonders for the Shreyas Iyer-led team in IPL 2024. KKR are currently on top of the IPL 2024 points tally with 16 points from 11 matches and with 8 wins from these fixtures, they have been one of the teams to beat this season.

KKR fans are delighted with Gambhir's return which has coincided with the team playing a refreshing brand of cricket. And now a video has gone viral on social media in which a fan can be seen breaking down while expressing how much Gambhir's association with the team albeit in a different role means to him. He dedicated a Rabindranath Tagore-composed Bengali song to Gambhir while urging him to never leave the team.

KKR vs MI In IPL 2024 On May 11

Almost certain of a place in the IPL 2024 Playoffs, KKR will take on already eliminated MI at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday (May 11). MI, five-time champions of IPL, have had a miserable year this time around and only have 8 points from 12 matches.
