IPL 2025: Three Underrated Players Who Could Shine For Mumbai Indians In Indian Premier League 2025

Have a look at three underrated players who could be game-changers for Mumbai Indians in their quest for a sixth IPL title.

All eyes are on how a revamped Mumbai Indians (MI) team takes on the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season. The five-time champions are gearing up for another title-winning campaign.

Mumbai Indians (MI) strengthened their squad through the mega auction and made some strategic additions, making them even more formidable.

Have a look at three underrated players who could be game-changers for Mumbai Indians in their quest for a sixth IPL title.

1. Will Jacks: Explosive English batter Will Jacks joins Mumbai Indians for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 after an impressive 2024 season with RCB. MI secured him for Rs 5.25 crore in the mega auction.

With Ishan Kishan's departure, Jacks is likely to open the innings with Rohit Sharma, adding firepower to MI's top order and giving them an edge in the powerplay.

2. Trent Boult: New Zealand's premier fast bowler Trent Boult returns to Mumbai Indians, having played a key role for the franchise in their 2020 championship run. After a stint with Rajasthan Royals, Boult is back to boost MI's pace attack.

His ability to swing the new ball and take early wickets, combined with his deadly pairing with Jasprit Bumrah, makes MI's bowling lineup one of the most dangerous in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

3. Deepak Chahar: Indian swing specialist Deepak Chahar, formerly with Chennai Super Kings, is now part of Mumbai Indians after being acquired for Rs 9.25 crore. Known for his ability to strike early with the new ball, Chahar's addition strengthens MI's pace unit, forming a lethal trio alongside Boult and Bumrah.

With established stars like Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah, the inclusion of Boult, Jacks, and Chahar has further strengthened Mumbai Indians.

Can Mumbai Indians Secure Their Sixth IPL Title?

MI is among the strongest contenders for IPL 2025. If their new signings perform as expected, they could be on track for their sixth championship.
