SRH vs MI Highlights: In what can be easily recognised as one of the most electrifying matches in T20 cricket history, record-breaking performances from Travis Head, Heinrich Klaasen stood apart as Sunrisers Hyderabad clinched a memorable 31-run win over five-time champions Mumbai Indians in 'record-breaking night' on Wednesday (March 27).

Tonight's SRH vs MI IPL 2024 match in Hyderabad saw the most sixes ever hit in any T20 match worldwide, highest total (523 runs) scoring T20 match ever and highest total by a team in IPL history, 16, 18, 23 and 24 balls fifties.

The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad witnessed a pulsating atmosphere with over 80,000 enthusiastic fans, while audiences worldwide were treated to a magnificent display of cricket.

Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first. For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Travis Head began with the merciless hammering, scoring 62 runs off mere 24 balls while Abhishek Sharma notched up 63 runs off 23 deliveries. T20 star Heinrich Klaasen (34-ball 80 runs) and Aiden Markram (28-ball 42 runs) continued the thumping after being sent to bat.

These record-breaking knocks from SRH batters, including the fastest IPL fifty by Abhishek Sharma off just 16 balls, helped the home team break RCB's 11-year-old record for biggest IPL total ever. SRH reached 277/3 vs MI in Hyderabad.

Chasing 276 runs for the win, Mumbai Indians showed resilience with Tilak Verma shining in the chase with a blistering 64 off 34 deliveries. Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan provided a solid start, amassing 56 runs in just 3.2 overs. However, despite their efforts, MI fell short by 31 runs, finishing with a total of 246/5.

This was Mumbai's second consecutive loss in the ongoing IPL 2024.
