IPL 2024 Updated Points Table: Here's the updated points table, highest run-getters and wicket-takers list of the IPL 2024 after the Punjab Kings vs Mumbai Indians match in Mullanpur, Chandigarh.

IPL 2024 Updated Points Table, Most Runs, Most Wickets: Mumbai Indians (MI) won their third match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 2024 on April 18 (Thursday) as they defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) by nine runs at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur, Chandigarh in a thriller game.

Asked to bat first, MI scored 192 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs with Suryakumar Yadav top-scoring for his side with a well-compiled 53-ball 78. Punjab’s Harshal Patel was the top pick of the bowlers as he claimed three wickets in four overs giving away just 31 runs.

In reply, Punjab Kings got off to a horror start and kept losing wickets at regular intervals as they were reduced to 77-6 under 10 overs at one point. However, Shashank Singh played a good innings of 41 runs and then the late onslaught by Ashutosh Sharma almost won them a game as he made 61 runs off just 28 balls. But his wicket proved crucial as PBKS fell short by nine runs.
