IPL 2024 Updated Points Table, Orange & Purple Cap: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) secured yet another victory in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 as they defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by seven wickets in the 47th match of the league, at the Eden Gardens on April 29. With the win, KKR now have six wins in nine games and are positioned second in the IPL 2024 points table. DC, on the other hand, are placed at sixth with five wins and six losses in 11 matches in the IPL 2024 so far.

Winning the toss, DC decided to bat first but could not get going from the get go as they lost both their openers- Jake Fraser-McGurk and Prithvi Shaw, early in the innings. DC could not recover from thereon and Kuldeep Yadav was their highest run-scorer in the match with 35 runs of 26 balls. Thanks to his efforts, DC managed to get to 153-9 in 20 overs.

In reply, KKR were off to a flier start with Phil Salt making yet another blazing fifty. He scored a 33-ball 68 runs knock and ensured that KKR chased the target with ease. KKR won the match by seven wickets with 3.3 overs still remaining.
