For some reason, Anushka Sharma was not present at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad -- the venue where Virat Kohli completed his sixth IPL ton to help Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) attain a comprehensive eight-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

Senior batters Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis dished out a chasing masterclass as the legendary batting duo went on to stitch a solid 172-run opening stand, highest partnership between any two batters in ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, to get the job done with four balls to spare.

Virat's classy and composed innings was laced up with four sixes and 12 boundaries, while Faf du Plessis cracked seven fours and two sixes in his 47-ball knock.

The win over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) moved Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to fourth position in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 Points Table. RCB is tied with MI on 14 points but are one position ahead of them in points table due to a better net run rate. RCB must beat GT in their upcoming IPL 2023 match to remain alive in IPL 2023 Playoffs race as Chennai Super Kings and Lucknow Super Giants are at 15 points with one match to go in league stage.
