IPL 2023: PBKS Star Liam Livingstone Gives An Update On His Participation
While Punjab Kings are unbeaten in the tournament so far, they will continue to be without the services of all-rounder Liam Livingstone for their match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday.
While the Indian Premier League (IPL) is into its second week, there are several players who are yet to join their respective franchises due to a variety of reasons. Some have injury concerns while others have prioritised international commitments. One of Punjab Kings star who has been nursing an injury has now provided an update regarding his participation in the tournament.
While Punjab Kings are unbeaten in the tournament so far, they will continue to be without the services of all-rounder Liam Livingstone for their match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday who is still in the United Kingdom. However, in a recent intrerview he has provided an update on the status of injury and said that the injections that he had last week have worked their magic and he will be heading to India in a couple of day's time.
"I had injections last week and they've worked their magic, so hopefully in the next 48 hours I'll be on my way out to India. It's been a long time coming, but finally, there's light at the end of the tunnel for me," the 29-year-old said in a video uploaded by Lancashire Cricket on Twitter.

PBKS started off their campaign with a win against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali. They then won their next game against IPL 2022 runners up Rajasthan Royals by 7 runs and will now meet SRH in Hyderabad later this evening.
The Orange Army, by contrast, are yet to taste a win in this tournament and find themselves at the last place in the league table at this stage. They lost against RR by 72 runs before succuming to a 5-wicket loss against LSG on Friday. They would be eager to get off the mark on the points table at their home ground.
