IPL 2021 Preview: Delhi Capitals Vs Punjab Kings, Predicted Playing XI, Match Details

IPL 2021, DC vs PBKS: Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium will host the 11^th match of the Indian Premier League. Rishabh Pant’s Delhi Capitals (DC) and KL Rahul’s Punjab Kings (PBKS) will try to bring each other down and go up in the points table.

PBKS have come off a defeat against CSK. They got all-out for 106 in the first innings which the CSK chased easily in the 16^th over itself. DC also scored less in their previous match against RR. They scored 147 which the RR managed to chase in a close match. So, both the teams have a problem with middle-order batting. Mumbai’s surface is usually known for its big scores but the last two matches of DC and PBKS have proved otherwise.   

Apart from that, PBKS will also improve their previous bowling performance. But DC has a prominent bowling line-up. Although, the team winning the toss has chosen to bowl first, more often than not. Looks like, the same trajectory would be applied today.

The head-to-head performance favors the PBKS as it has won 15 games out of the 26 played between the two.
