Chris Gayle Takes Shocking Decision, Leaves IPL Bio Bubble For This Reason

IPL 2021: Punjab Kings star batsman Chris Gayle has distanced himself from the bio bubble. Gayle will not be seen playing again in this season.

IPL 2021: Punjab Kings, which is going through a bad phase in the 14th season of the Indian Premier League, has suffered a severe setback. Star batsman Chris Gayle has left the bio bubble of IPL. There are speculations that the most successful batsman in IPL history has played his last match in the league.

Punjab Kings issued a statement informing Chris Gayle's separation from the bio bubble. Punjab Kings said Chris Gayle had expressed his desire of leaving the bio bubble in front of the bio bubble franchise as he wants to prepare himself for the T20 World Cup. 

Chris Gayle says he has been in the bio bubble for several months now and needs to rest. Gail said, "I have been part of the bio bubble for the last several months. First it was for the West Indies team, then in the CPL and after that the IPL bio bubble. I need to refresh myself.''

14th season did not turn out to be good for Gayle

Gayle has taken this break for the T20 World Cup. "I want to help the West Indies win the World Cup," said the Universe boss. I'm taking a break in Dubai itself. I thank the Punjab Kings who agreed to what I said. Best wishes on my behalf to the team for a better performance.''

For Chris Gayle, who recently turned 42, IPL's 14th season hasn't been very impressive. Chris Gayle scored 193 runs in 10 matches this season and failed to score a single half century.
