Ravichandran Ashwin tweets for Tamil movie: Indian cricket teams' senior spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, currently part of the national team taking on South Africa in three-match T20 International series, took to Twitter to ask fans for options for him to watch a Tamil movie named 'Ponniyin Selvan' in Guwahati. Team India, 1-0 up in T20 series against South Africa, will take on the visitors at Guwahati's Barsapara stadium on Sunday. Rohit Sharma & Co. had arrived in Assam on Thursday for the 2nd T20 International.

Talking about Ashwin, the veteran was benched by the Indian team management for India vs South Africa 1st T20 International after being benched for the entire India vs Australia three-match T20 International series. Ashwin bowled pretty well in his comeback T20 match for India, Ind vs South Africa 1st T20I, as he conceded 8 runs in his four overs.

The first match of the three-match T20 series between India and South Africa was played in Thiruvananthapuram. Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, South Africa scored 106 runs in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets. In reply, India chased down the target in 16.4 overs for the loss of two wickets.
