Indian team openerRohit Sharma is in great batting rhythm on Day 1 of the Ind vs Eng second Test match at Chepauk Stadium, Chennai. Rohit made a great comeback in Chennai Test. The star opener, who has been struggling to play big innings for some time, batted brilliantly in Chennai and dominated the England bowlers.

The first boundary of the Indian innings came in the third over and it was hit by Rohit, who played his trademark cover drive off Stuart Broad's delivery with ease and elegance to put India off-the-mark.

Rohit Sharma's knock helped India cross the 200-run mark in the second Test after tea for loss of three wickets on Day 1. Ajinkya Rahane, on the other end, is supporting him at the crease and has attained a hard-fought fifty as well.
