With every passing day, the date of the T20 World Cup is coming closer. Teams from all over the world are preparing for the World Cup of the shortest format of the game. The Indian team is also being believed to be one of the favorites to win this year's T20 World Cup.
Before the World Cup, India recently played a T20 series against Sri Lanka in which they lost 1-2. Now that the World Cup is very close, renowned cricket expert and commentator Harsha Bhogle picked his Indian team for the upcoming T20 World Cup during the show Cricbuzz Live.
Harsha Bhogle has included five specialist batsmen in his team. Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav have been given a place in Harsha's team. As per him, there will be tough competition between Shreyas Iyer and Ishaan Kishan for the fifth place. Harsha suggested that having a left-handed batsman at number five benefits the team.
However, the star cricket expert has not included Indian opener out-of-form Shikhar Dhawan in the team. Rishabh Pant is included in the team as a wicket-keeper batsman. Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja, have been picked as the three all-rounders in Harsha's Indian team.
Talking about the bowlers, Harsha has picked two specialist spinners in form of Varun Chakravarthy and Yuzvendra Chahal. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Deepak Chahar and Jasprit Bumrah are the fast bowlers picked in Harsha's team India. Along with this, he said that out of Mohammed Shami and T Natarajan, one bowler will be picked in the team as the fourth bowler. The big name that Harsha left among the bowlers is that of Kuldeep Yadav. Kuldeep has taken 41 wickets in T20 cricket for India.
