India vs South Africa: The last match of the three-match Test series between India and South Africa is currently being played at the Newlands Cricket Ground (NCG) in Cape Town. On day 1, team India won the toss and decided to bat first.
India, in their first innings, were reduced to just 223 runs. Captain Virat Kohli (79) and Cheteshwar Pujara (43) were the top scorers for their team. Apart from them, all other batters flopped. By the end of the first day's play, the South African team scored 17 runs for the loss of 1 wicket.
After the flop of Indian batters, bnow the hopes of the team rest on the bowlers. Jasprit Bumrah had pulled the momentum in India's favour by sending captain Dean Elgar to the pavilion early, but needs to take some more wickets soon on the second day.
