New Delhi: Team India will lock horns with a formidable Australian side in the three-match ODI series, with the series opener to be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Monday. The three ODIs will be played on January 14, 17 and 19 in Mumbai, Rajkot and Bengaluru.
Marnus Labuschagne makes his ODI debut today against India. He becomes Australian ODI player No.229.
Meanwhile, the Aussies would also take confidence from their last ODI assignment in India where they clinched a hard fought 3-2 series won over the 'Men in Blue' just ahead of the 2019 ICC World Cup. When the two sides met in the round robin stage at the 2019 Cricket World Cup.
Australia come into the series on the back of a highly successful year in ODI cricket which saw them winning 16 out of their 23 matches in 2019, with the World Cup semi final being the highlight of their white ball cricket campaign.
