England on Friday ended the second day of ongoing second Test at Manchester against the West Indies in a dominant position after an epic 260-run partnership between Ben Stokes (176) and Dom Sibley helped the hosts take a commanding 437 runs lead at stumps. At stumps, West Indies were 32/1 in their first innings after the hosts declared their first outing with the bat at a mammoth 469 for 9 at Old Trafford. Earlier on Day 2, England started the Day on an aggressive note with both Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler looking to score at a quick rate. Soon after Team, Buttler broke loose with three fours and Stokes looked to take on Kemar Roach in the next. However, the centurion ended up gloving one to Shane Dowrich behind the wickets while trying to reverse slap a length delivery. This was Roach's first Test wicket in 86.5 overs. As it turned out, the next wicket came off the very next ball for Roach with Chris Woakes edging the delivery to Shai Hope at gully.
