The decision comes aftermath the red card he received against Austria for pushing Austria's Philipp Mwene to the ground in a 2-0 friendly loss back in November.
Leroy Sané has been handed a 3-match ban by FIFA following his red card against Austria. He will therefore miss the games against France and the Netherlands in March as well as the first of two test games planned just before the Euros. The news was delivered to the German Football Association via an e-mailed statement from FIFA and the DFB has stated that the decision by the global body is not a final one and hence, will make an appeal to overturn the ban.
