Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024: Schedule, Format, Dates, Venues, Live Streaming & More

The 2024 Women's Premier League (WPL 2024) is scheduled to take place from February 23 to March 17. Similar to last year, five teams will compete in a total of 22 matches.

The 2024 Women's Premier League (WPL), second edition of the tournament, is set to commence on February 23, 2024, beginning with an exciting match between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians. DC vs MI WPL 2024 inaugural game will take place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. In the inaugural edition of Women's Premier League, Mumbai Indians, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, clinched the championship title by defeating Meg Lenning-led Delhi Capitals in the final.

The 2024 Women's Premier League (WPL 2024) is scheduled to take place from February 23 to March 17. Similar to last year, five teams will compete in a total of 22 matches. Unlike last year when the league matches were held in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi have been chosen as the hosting cities for this year.

In the upcoming WPL 2024 season, the 22 matches will be divided between two prominent stadiums: the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru and the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Each of these stadiums will host 11 matches.

A total of 20 matches will be contested during the league stage. Following this phase, Eliminator and Final matches will take place. The team finishing at the top of the league round standings will secure a direct berth to WPL 2024 Final. Meanwhile, the second and third-placed teams will compete in the Eliminator.

Notably, there won't be any double-header matches throughout WPL 2024 tournament's 24-day duration, with only one match scheduled per day. The Eliminator is set for March 15, and WPL 2024 final will be held on March 17 in Delhi.

The five teams for Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 are as follows: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Gujarat Giants (GG), Mumbai Indians (MI), Delhi Capitals (DC), UP Warriors (UPW)

Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 live streaming, telecast details: For every WPL 2024 match, the toss will occur at 7:00 PM IST, followed by live action starting at 7:30 PM IST. Sports 18 HD/SD will broadcast WPL 2024 matches live in India. Additionally, WPL 2024 matches can be live-streamed on Jio Cinema in multiple languages.
