However, this was not the only record he managed to achieve, as the England pacer now has a world-record to his name.
Saqib Mahmood is the first-ever bowler in the entire history of Men's T20I to scalp a triple-wicket maiden over with his first-ever over of the tour.
The feat is achieved vs India at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, as India's top-order was left bamboozled by the sheer brilliance from the 27-year-old.

Who Is Saqib Mahmood?
Saqib Mahmood has had a troubled international career so far,as constant injuries and emergence of other promising pacers hampered his playing time in the national side.
The English pacer made his international debut in November 2019, during England's T20I fixture against New Zealand in Wellington.
Few months later, the England international completed his white-ball debut my making his first appearance in ODI's vs South Africa in February 2020 in Johanesburg.
The right-arm pacer had to wait for his red-ball debut for another two years, which came during the Test match against West Indies in Bridgetown in March 2022.
So far, Saqib Mahmood has played 2 Test matches, 9 ODI's, and 18 T20I matches (the match against India on Friday is his 19th T20I), and across these 29 international matches, the Birmingham-born cricketer has 38 wickets to his name, and at the time of writing, the pacer has extended his tally to 41 wickets in 30 international matches.
