WATCH: Shakib Walks Up To Kohli To 'Chat' After His Umpire Gesture During IND Vs BAN T20 WC Game

Half-centuries from KL Rahul and Virat Kohli powered India to put 184/6 in 20 overs.

Virat Kohli is again proving his worth to the world in the ongoing T20 World Cup. He scored his third fifty in this edition as he played a classy knock of 64 runs in 44 balls against Bangladesh. Kohli also smashed eight fours and one six.

Half-centuries from KL Rahul and Virat Kohli powered India to put 184/6 in 20 overs. On the last delivery of the 16th over, Hasan Mahmud bowled a short pitch delivery and Virat pulled it away. Just after playing that shot, Kohli indicated to the square-leg umpire about the height of the delivery.

Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan immediately came and spoke to Kohli about his gesture towards the umpire. The two then smiled and walked away to their respective position.

On Wednesday, Virat Kohli became the leading run-getter in men’s T20 World Cup cricket during the Super 12 match against Bangladesh at the Adelaide Oval.

Earlier, Suryakumar Yadav became the number 1 T20I batter.  "Yadav's 51 not out off 25 balls against the Netherlands in Sydney and a valiant 68 off 40 against South Africa in Perth have helped him overtake New Zealand's Devon Conway and Pakistan's Mohammad Rizwan, who had held the top spot since 4 September this year," ICC said in a release.

Talking about the match, India batted first and scored 184/6 in 20 overs. In reply to that, Luton Das starred with the bat for Bangladesh as he made 60 runs in just 27 balls. Rain played spoilsport and then the officials decided to reduce the overs and it turned out to be a 16-over game. The Bangla tigers have then given the target of 151 runs.
