The Big Bash League witnessed a rib-tickling moment during the match between Melbourne Renegades and Sydney Thunders, when two batsmen on the pitch ran into each other, resulting in a comical run-out. Certainly, it was the pressure of the run-chase that resulted in such hilarious incident.
Thanks to the whirlwind innings from Cameron Boyce (55 runs off 22 balls), Melbourne posted a tough target of 141 runs against Sydney Thunders. Sydney kept on loosing wickets but, in the end, Gurinder Sandhu tried to take the falling innings under control for his side.

With a bemused face, Gurney took the advantage of the situation and threw the ball to the wicketkeeper to dismiss Cook and accomplish one of the most bizarre run-outs in cricket.

The Renegades managed to put 140 runs on the board but Sydney were were dismissed in 19.1 overs for a paltry score of 113 runs.
