T20Is: Team India played a single T20 during 2008-09 tour of Australia where they struggled against the Aussies. India was bowled out for just 74 runs in 17.3 overs. Australia then chased down the target comfortably, losing only one wicket and completing the chase in just 11.2 overs.
Test cricket: During the 2020-21 Border-Gavaskar five-match Test series in Australia, Team India was bowled out for just 36 runs in the first Test at Adelaide. Despite taking a first-innings lead of over 50 runs, India suffered a dramatic collapse in their second innings. Australian bowlers Pat Cummins (4 wickets for 21 runs) and Josh Hazlewood (5 wickets for 8 runs) delivered an exceptional performance, restricting India to a mere 36 runs. Mohammed Shami retired hurt, and no Indian batter managed to score more than 10 runs.

ODIs: India was up against Sri Lanka in the final of Champions Trophy 2000–01, held in Sharjah. Sanath Jayasuriya's explosive innings of 189 runs propelled Sri Lanka to a total of 299, setting India a target of 300. During the chase, India's batting lineup was dismantled by Chaminda Vaas, and without the contributions of Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly, India was all out for just 54 runs in 26.3 overs.
