Sri Lanka Cricket Scandal: Accused Female Official ‘Was Caught In The Act Multiple Times Before’ - Report
Not the first time that the SL cricketers are accused of sexual misconduct. Some players were reportedly also caught smoking, drinking after the South Africa series loss.
Sri Lankan cricket team has been grasped with a sex scandal that has taken place during the on-going Test series against England. It seems like a massive blow to Sri Lankan cricket as the team’s most talked-about youngster has been reportedly caught red-handed in a sexual misconduct.
It is learned that the incident took place during the on-going Test series against England. The youngster, in his early twenties was caught with a female staff of the Sri Lankan squad in a hotel room in Galle.
This is not the first time such an incident has taken place in the Sri Lankan squad. It is being said that the female who is accused in this scandal has been previously named in such incidents but the authorities decided to keep a blind eye. Previously, the players were seen playing cards after they were bowled out for 135 runs against England in the first innings. They were trolled for the same as well.
Currently, the players are living in a bio-bubble where they aren’t allowed to leave their rooms. These allegations couldn’t have come at a worse time. Sri Lanka had lost the Test match against England by seven wickets.
These allegations have been reported to the Sri Lankan Cricket (SLC) by the team management and the SLC is looking in to the matter. Sri Lankan cricketers are not building a great reputation around their team. During South Africa’s tour of Sri Lanka, when SL lost the series 0-2, some players were caught smoking, drinking and getting involved in all sought of objectionable activities.

Meanwhile, the second Test between England and Sri Lanka is underway and Sri Lanka were 45-2 in 17 overs.
