After India women's cricket team defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets in IND vs PAK Women's Asia T20 Cup on Friday (July 19), Smriti Mandhana did something that has garnered immense love and admiration from the fans.

In a video uploaded by the official social media handle of Sri Lanka Cricket, Mandhana can be seen giving a gift to a young Sri Lankan fan in a wheelchair.

The special fan, named Adisha Herath, welcomed Smriti Mandhana with her mother. The star Indian cricketer then gave Adisha a gift and posed for a photograph with her.

At the end of the video, Adisha's mother thanked Mandhana and revealed how they coincidentally came to watch the match between India and Pakistan, making it a great moment for her daughter, who is a big fan of Mandhana.

Defending champions India crush Pakistan in IND vs PAK Women's T20 Asia Cup clash

India started its Asia Cup campaign with a win by defeating Pakistan in Dambulla. Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first, but the Indian bowlers, led by Deepti Sharma, restricted Pakistan to 108 runs. In response, Indian women's team chased down the target in 14.1 overs, winning the match by 7 wickets, thanks to Smriti Mandhana (45 runs) and Shafali Verma (40 runs).

The 'Women in Blue' will now take on UAE on Sunday (July 21) at Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium.

Smriti Mandhana breaks Harmanpreet Kaur's record

The record for hitting the most fours in Women's Asia Cup was previously held by Indian women's team captain Harmanpreet Kaur, who had hit 41 fours in the tournament. However, IND vs PAK match, Smriti Mandhana surpassed her by hitting 9 fours. With a total of 48 fours, Mandhana now tops the list of batters with most fours in Women's Asia Cup.
