Former India opener Shikhar Dhawan may have retired from international cricket, but his popularity continues to soar. He remains highly active on social media, entertaining his followers with reels and photos.

Shikhar Dhawan enjoys an impressive social media following, with 18.7 million fans on Instagram. Recently, he posted a picture of himself enjoying the snowy mountains, letting his fans know about his adventurous spirit.

Dhawan kicked off the new year in his own unique way. He captioned the post: "Bahut khushi, josh aur sahi planning ke saath entering 2025. Enjoying the journey!" Fans have responded with an outpouring of love for his update.

Since his divorce from Ayesha Mukherjee in 2023, Dhawan has embraced single life, while his son Zoravar lives with his mother in Australia.

In August of last year, Dhawan announced his retirement from international and domestic cricket, concluding a remarkable career that featured 24 centuries - 17 in ODIs and seven in Tests - over 269 international matches. His last competitive outing was in April this year, when he played for Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League.

The 38-year-old represented the Indian cricket team for over 13 years. One of the most decorated left-handed batters of all time, Dhawan featured in 34 Tests, 167 ODIs, and 68 T20Is, socring 2,315 runs in Tests, 6,793 in ODIs, and 1,579 in T20Is.

Shikhar Dhawan's last appearance for the Indian cricket team came in an ODI against Bangladesh in Chattogram in December 2022, while his final T20I was played in Sri Lanka in July 2021. The Southpaw hadn't participated in a Test match for India since 2018.
