Shikhar Dhawan, the out of favour India batter and current captain of the Punjab Kings, recently posted on his Instagram handle, a rather emotional moment of his life with his son, Zoravar. Dhawan posted a screenshot from his video call with his son, shedding light on the challenges he has been facing in his personal life.

Dhawan, a prominent Indian cricketer, has been going through a turbulent period in his life, marked by his recent divorce from his wife, Aesha Mukerji.

The 37-year-old was granted a divorce by a Delhi court on October 4, citing grounds of mental cruelty in his marriage to Aesha Mukerji. The court acknowledged that Mukerji's actions had caused Dhawan significant mental distress, as she had compelled him to live separately from their son Zoravar for an extended period. However, the court did not grant permanent custody of their son, instead allowing Dhawan the right to visit Zoravar for specific durations and facilitating video calls to maintain their connection. Now, Dhawan's heartfelt post for his son seems to have resonated with many.
