Bucknor, the famous West Indies umpire, had a strained relationship with Sachin Tendulkar as he questionably adjudged the batter out on multiple occasions especially in the 2000s.
Tendulkar took to X (formerly Twitter) on November 16 (Saturday) and uploaded a photo of himself standing in front of a large three-trunked tree while pretending to shadow-bat as if the trunks were stumps. Tendulkar captioned the post “Can you guess which umpire made the stumps feel this big?’ and it sparked plenty of discussion prompting fans to openly mention Bucknor who made controversial decisions against Master Blaster. The name of Steve Bucknor even started trending on the social media platform.
