Sachin Tendulkar Receives Standing Ovation At Wimbledon- WATCH VIRAL VIDEO
Sachin Tendulkar stood up and acknowledged the reception he received at the Wimbledon Centre Court,
Sachin Tendulkar, the Indian cricket legend, received a standing ovation from a packed Centre Court at Wimbledon on Saturday (July 6). As soon as the member of the 2011-ODI World Cup-winning Indian cricket team and the record run-scorer in international cricket was introduced, the crowd gave a round of applause to welcome the batting master. Tendulkar, who looked dapper in a beige-coloured suit, waved his hands in a gesture of acknowledgement.
"It's great to welcome you back to Centre Court, @sachin_rt," Wimbledon captioned the video on X (formerly Twitter).

"We are also joined by legend of the game from India, another World Cup winner and the all-time run-scorer in cricket history. Please welcome Sachin Tendulkar," the announcer could be heard saying in the video.
Meanwhile, England's Test captain Ben Stokes could be seen sitting behind Tendulkar in the video. Stokes wasn't the only English cricketer to be present at the Centre court as Joe Root and Jos Buttler were also there to accompany him and enjoy some tennis action.
Tendulkar even shared a social media post on X from his time at Wimbledon. "Game. 𝘚𝘶𝘪𝘵. Match. @Wimbledon time, with @RalphLauren serving aces in the styling department.Always a special experience to witness world-class tennis from the Royal Box. #Wimbledon," he wrote in a post while sharing snaps from his time at Wimbledon 2024.
