Current Whereabouts of the Legends

After the IPL 2025, Virat Kohli traveled to London, where he currently resides with his family. He’s expected to return ahead of the ODI series. Rohit Sharma, on the other hand, is based in Mumbai and will also rejoin the squad when the time comes.

With fewer appearances on the horizon, fans will have to wait patiently for these rare moments when two of Indian cricket’s greatest will once again don the blue jersey together.

Virat and Rohit Eye 2027 ODI World Cup

Despite stepping away from T20Is and Tests in 2025, Indian cricket legends Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are reportedly planning to continue until the 2027 ODI World Cup.

Both players have expressed a strong desire to contribute to India’s World Cup campaign in South Africa, aiming to end their careers on the biggest stage.

While they will play limited ODIs in 2025, their focus is on maintaining peak fitness and form for the 50-over format.

The BCCI is expected to manage their workload carefully, ensuring they are available for key bilateral series and ICC events.
