Rinku Singh Names His Favourite Captains: The 26-year-old UP cricketer did not include MS Dhoni in his favourite captains.
Rinku Singh is being backed by several cricketing experts as the future superstar of India. The UP cricketer has already made a name for himself with his heroics with the bat in his young international career so far while playing multiple match-winning knocks already for his franchise Kolkata Knighyt Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, when it comes to choosing his favourite captain, he did not pick the likes of MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya.
Rinku did not opt to go with the former Team India captain Dhoni or the highly successful captain of Gujarat Titans (GT) Hardik who is currently leading Mumbai Indians (MI). Instead he went for Rohit Sharma- the man who led India to their first world title in 11 years.

"Rohit bhaiya pasand hai kaptaani mei (I like Rohit Sharma’s captaincy). Aur Virat bhaiya kyuki aggression bahut jaruri hota hai kaptaani mein, team ko lekar chalna, toh unki kaptaani bhi kafi achi thi (Virat Kohli because aggression is very important in captaincy, so his leadership was also very good)," Rinku said on News 24.
Rinku Singh Names His Favourite Batters
Meanwhile, Rinku was also quizzed about his favourite batters. In response, he once again included Rohit and Virat while also naming Suresh Raina and Suryakumar Yadva in his list, mentioning that these players are classier than then rest and can play any shot in the book.
"Raina bhi aur sabke he favourite hai Rohit bhaiya, unke paas itna time hai khlene hai, Virat bhaiya, Surya bhai. Alag hai vo ekdum, vo aise shot maarte hai ki koi maar he nahi sakta (I like Raina, and Rohit is everyone’s favourite because he has so much time to play, Virat, and Surya. He is different, and the kind of shots he plays, no one else can)," Rinku added.

It was no surprise that Jasprit Bumrah was named by Rinku as his favourite player.
