India vs Pakistan Women’s T20I World Cup 2024: India pacer Renuka Singh delivered an early blow to Pakistan Women by dismissing Pakistan opener Gull Feroza for a four-ball duck as she clean-bowled her with a jaffa in the very first over of the IND vs PAK T20 World Cup 2024 match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai on October 6 (Sunday).
Pakistan captain Fatima Sana won the toss and opted to bat first. India’s Renuka Singh was handed the ball for the first over of the match and she delivered straight-away for the Women In Blue. Renuka bowled three dots on the trot to Feroza. Bowling her final ball of the over, Renuka bowled a big in-swinger, pitching on length, and Feroza played the wrong line, resulting in the ball passing through her defences and crashing into the stumps.
With the wicket, Pakistan were reduced to 1-1 in 1 over.

India Positioned At The Bottom In Group A Points Table
India Women, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, started their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign off to a poor start as they were beaten by New Zealand Women thoroughly in their campaign opener. New Zealand defeated India by 58 runs to climb atop the T20 World Cup Group A points table with the Net Run Rate (NRR) of +2.900.
India after the heavy loss are positioned at the bottom of the table with the NRR of -2.900 and will look to improve their standing with the IND vs PAK match.
Pakistan, on the other hand, started their World Cup campaign off to a positive start as they registered a convincing win over Sri Lanka by 31 runs. They are positioned third in the points table with the NRR of +1.550.
