PSL 2020: Haris Rauf Apologises To Shahid Afridi With Folded Hands After Dismissing Him For First-Ball Duck

Pakistan Super League 2020 Eliminator: After getting bowled for a first-ball duck, when Afridi was returning to the pavilion, Rauf was seen apologizing to him with a smiling face and with folded hands.

Pakistan right-arm speedster Haris Rauf bowled Shahid Afridi on the first ball in the match played between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars on Sunday in Pakistan Super League (PSL 2020). But, the reason Rauf caught limelight during the game was because he apologized with folded hands after getting Afridi bold for a first-ball duck.

After the match, Rauf also revealed the reason for him apologizing to Afridi. Both these teams of PSL were playing Eliminator 2 on Sunday. In this match, Lahore defeated Multan to make it to the finals of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for the first time. On Tuesday, they will play the title match against Karachi Kings.

Afridi was batting in the 14th over of Multan Sultans' innings when he was bowled by Haris Rauf, who rattled the veteran's stumps with a lethal in-swinging yorker. "LALA I'M SORRY," the Twitter handle of PSL shared the video of the incident.

After this, when Afridi was returning to the pavilion, Rauf was seen apologizing to him with a smiling face and with folded hands. Rauf later revealed that he apologized to Afridi because he is senior to him.

Qalandars won the match by 25 runs and Rauf played a key role in the game by taking three wickets. Qalandars now have to play their next match against Karachi Kings in the final. Rauf so far has played two ODIs and eight T20 matches for Pakistan.

Recently in a game in PSL, Shahid Afridi came out bat wearing a very dangerous helmet. The helmet did not have the upper part of the grill. Afridi's helmet was so dangerous that the ball could easily hit his head or face, after which the all-rounder was heavily criticized on Twitter.
