PAK vs AFG, ICC World Cup 2019: Gulabdin Naib wins toss, Afghanistan to bat first

Afghanistan skipper Gulabdin Naib won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan at Headingley.

Pakistan will be locking horns against Asian neighbors Afghanistan in Match 36 of the ongoing ICC World Cup at Headingley in Leeds. The match is scheduled to commence at 3 pm. Pakistan who come into the game on the back of two successive wins against New Zealand and South Africa would eye a win against bottom placed Afghanistan to bolster their chances of entering the semifinals. Toss update Afghanistan skipper Gulabdin Naib won the toss and elected to bat first at Headingley. Naib: We are gonna bat first, the wicket looks good. It's a sunny day and weather is warm. Pakistan is a good side but we beat them in the warm-up game. We'll try to give our 100% today. We are looking forward to put a good show today. Sarfaraz Ahmed: We wanted to bat first as well but toss is not in our hands. Our bowlers are doing well, so we'll try to restrict them and chase the target. We are focusing on this match, not focusing on the next game. Wahab is fine, he's playing today, hence we are playing with the same team. Here is the playing eleven for both the teams Pakistan (Playing XI): Imam-ul-Haq, Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Mohammad Hafeez, Haris Sohail, Sarfaraz Ahmed(w/c), Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Amir, Shaheen Afridi Afghanistan (Playing XI): Gulbadin Naib(c), Rahmat Shah, Hashmatullah Shahidi, Asghar Afghan, Mohammad Nabi, Samiullah Shinwari, Najibullah Zadran, Ikram Ali Khil(w), Rashid Khan, Hamid Hassan, Mujeeb Ur Rahman
