Old Video Of Virat Kohli On Rohit Sharma's Habit Of Forgetting Things Resurfaces After India Captain Forgets Passport In Colombo Hotel

A member of the hotel staff brought Rohit Sharma's passport after which the team could depart for the airport in Colombo.

While Team India had a near-perfect Asia Cup 2023 as they went on to clinch the trophy while answering a lot many questions which they had heading into the World Cup beginning on October 5, skipper Rohit Sharma after lifting the Asia Cup for the second time was in the news for delaying the team's departure from their hotel in Colombo. In an episode of Breakfast With Champions, then captain Virat Kohli had revealed the forgetful nature of Rohit and the same was the reason why the team had to wait.

It is being reported that Rohit who was in attacking form as the skipper of the side in the continental tournament forgot his passport at the team hotel which is why the team had to wait for him to get his passport before they could proceed to the airport. A video of Rohit standing and waiting for a member of the hotel staff to get him his passport while the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya are seated behind him has gone viral on social media.

Meanwhile, Kohli's old clip in which he highlighted Rohit's habit has also resurfaced.

"I haven't seen anyone forget things like Rohit Sharma does. He even forgets his iPad, wallet, phone" Kohli had said in an episode of that show hosted by Gaurav Kapur.

Meanwhile, Team India's next cricketing assignment is their home ODI series against Australia before their Warm-up fixtures of the World Cup. Their first match in the marquee tournament will also be played against the same opposition at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
