Kanpur Test: Jasprit Bumrah Cleans Up Mushfiqur Rahim At The Stroke Of Lunch On Day 5- WATCH
Jasprit Bumrah finished with figures of 3/17 in the second innings of the IND vs BAN Kanpur Test
India bowled out Bangladesh for 146 in their second innings of the second Test at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur on Day 5 (October 1). While it looked for a brief while that the Indian bowlers might have to toil a bit to dimiss the opposition batters especially when Shadman Islam and Najmul Hossain Shanto were in the middle of a partnership, in the end an extended first session on the final day is all it took for the hosts to rattle out the visitors.
While Ravichandran Ashwin started it off for India and Ravindra Jadeja broke the much-needed Shadman-Shanto partnership, before ending with 3 wickets in his first three overs, India had Jasprit Bumrah for the tail. Bumrah first scalped two wickets to ensure that the morning session is extended by half an hour, just when it looked like that Bangladesh might resume batting in the post lunch session as well, the senior Indian speedster produced a gem of a slower ball to dismiss Mushfiqur Rahim.
The experienced Bangladesh batter had no answer to Bumrah's delivery and watched his stumps getting rattled as India now needed 95 runs to win in the final two session of the rain-affected Kanpur Test. The video of Bumrah's delivery to Rahim was shared by BCCI on their social media handle.

India Need 95 Runs To Win In Kanpur
Given the kind of form and intent, Team India showed the post lunch session could well turn out to be the final session of the Test. The match is set to go down in history as India set the record for the fastest Team 50, 100, 150, 200, 250- all in one match as they pushed for a win and are about to taste the same in Kanpur. More than two days of the Test were lost to rain and wet outfield.
