Top Sri Lanka players decided to opt-out from Pakistan tour after before their Prime Minister's Office received information of a possible terror attack to their national squad while touring Pakistan. Cricketer-turned-politician Gautam Gambhir shared a video on Twitter to apparently mock the 'curfew like situation' and extreme level of 'tight security' provided to the touring Sri Lankan team. Pakistan, failing to provide security to touring teams, had invited outrage from cricketing boards all over the world when the Sri Lankan cricket team was attacked on their way to the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore in March 2009. The attack on the Sri Lankan team was such a devastating incident, it ended international cricket in Pakistan. Sri Lanka are scheduled to tour Pakistan for a three-match ODI series and T20I series.
