Sourav Ganguly To Rejoin Delhi Capitals As Director Of Cricket In IPL 2023: Report

Sourav Ganguly, former BCCI chief will be joining the IPL team Delhi Capitals as Director of Cricket, as per IPL sources. Earlier, he worked as an advisor to Delhi Capitals in 2019 before he became the BCCI president. He will be looking at the cricket operations of the franchise along with the Dubai Capitals and the SA T230 league side Pretoria Capitals.

"Yes, Sourav will be back with Delhi Capitals from this year. The discussions and modalities are over.

"He has worked with the franchise, shares a good comfort level with owners and if he would have worked in IPL, it would have always been with DC," an IPL source tracking developments told PTI on conditions of anonymity.

In the recently passed IPL auction at Kochi, they roped in young uncapped Indian pacer Mukesh Kumar for a whopping amount of Rs 5.5 crore.
