Pant may soon undergo surgery as all three ligaments in his right knee have been affected. The injuries could not only keep him out of this year's IPL but could also jeopardize his participation in the 2023 ODI World Cup in India.
Delhi Capitals (DC) will kick off their IPL 2023 campaign on April 1 with a match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Pant was supposed to captain Delhi in IPL this year but he is still recovering from the injuries he sustained in a car crash.
