IPL 2020, SRH vs KKR Preview: In A Clash Of Equals, Who Will Be Able To Stop The Hat-Trick Of Loses

Match Preview SRH vs KKR, IPL 2020 UAE: Both the teams, Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad have been facing similar issues on the field as well. A win will save them from a hat-trick of losses and do well for the team morale.

IPL 2020: The is not much difference between the two teams who will be facing off each other in today's game of IPL 2020. If one takes a slight glance at the Kolkata Knight Riders team or Sunrisers Hyderabad squad one will find out that both teams are battling middle-order crises and have been plagued by inconsistency. Albeit briefly, there came a period when both teams registered back-to-back wins but couldn’t take it forward. Even though SRH and KKR are better placed than Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab, the battle for the fourth place is going to get fierce as we slowly start to proceed towards the business end of the tournament. Shubhman Gill vs Manish Pandey Hailed as the future of the Indian batting, KKR opener Shubhman Gill has disappointed this season. His strike rate, especially in the powerplay overs when field restrictions are on, is 112, which is weighing on the team’s run rate. Manish Pandey, who bats at number 3 for Hyderabad, too, has failed to live up to his promise. He has been inconsistent and it has hurt his team. Pat Cummins and Andre Russell  KKR must be hugely disappointed with Pat Cummins’ performance after breaking the bank for the Australian pacer during the auction. Except for one game, the costliest buy of IPL 2020—Kolkata paid Rs 15.5 crore for him—is proving to be a dud investment. Cummins has just two wickets from eight matches, with the tall Australian drawing a blank in six games. Andre Russell’s lack of form has added to Kolkata’s problems. The high-profile Jamaican has managed just 83 runs at an average of less than 12. Current position in the table: SRH (5th): After three wins and five losses from eight matches, Hyderabad currently sits fifth in the points table with six points. KKR (4th): On the other hand, Kolkata is placed fourth in the points table after bagging eight points from eight matches. The side has won four matches and lost as many. Probable XI: Sunrisers Hyderabad:  David Warner (Captain),  Jonny Bairstow (Wicketkeeper),  Manish Pandey,  Kane Williamson,  Priyam Garg,  Abdul Samad,  Rashid Khan,  Shahbaz Nadeem,  Sandeep Sharma,  Khaleel Ahmed,  T Natarajan Kolkata Knight Riders: 1 Shubman Gill, Rahul Tripathi, Nitish Rana, Eoin Morgan (Captain), Andre Russell, Dinesh Karthik (Wicketkeeper), Pat Cummins, Lockie Ferguson, Kuldeep Yadav,  Varun Chakravarthy,  Shivam Mavi
