For example, 'Sagarcasm' became Asagar Afghan, Nishan became 'Nishan Ur Rehman', and Rohit Jamgra became Rohitulla Zazai.

These developments are taking place as these Indian fans are showing their support to Afghanistan ahead of their T20 match against New Zealand. Many Indians have added the Afghani prefixes to their usernames. Names of players like Mujeeb Ur Rehman, Hazratullah Zazai and Najibullah Zadran are some of the popular ones.

What Is The Reason For It?

The reason for the same is pretty simple, all these fans want Afghanistan to defeat New Zealand in their final Group stage match. This will make India's road to the semi-final, very smooth. 

India's net run-rate has become better than NZ and Afghanistan, thus a simple victory for India against Namibia will cement their place in the semi-final, given that Afghanistan wins their match against NZ. Thus, the Indian fans are showing their support by changing their Twitter usernames.
