Background
Hello and welcome to ABP's live coverage of the ICC World Test Championship Final between India and Australia. The match is taking place at the iconic Oval ground in London. Stay tuned for all the latest updates of the game. The WTC Final 2023 between India and Australia kickstarted as the Kangaroos posted 327/3 on the board at the stumps. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and asked Australians to bat first at the Kennington Oval stadium in London. Initially, Indian bowlers were bowling well but then Steve Smith and Travis Head had other plans, stitching a 251-run stand for the fourth wicket.
The Indian team did not include Ravichandran Ashwin in the playing XI instead opted for Jadeja. They are playing with a combination of four speedsters against Australia in the WTC final 2023. Rohit Sharma’s team will be looking to clinch their first ICC title after a long gap of 10 years since they last won the 2013 Champions Trophy under the leadership of MS Dhoni. Australia on the other hand will be looking to take revenge for the losses they faced in the recently passed Border- Gavaskar Trophy. Also, this is the second time that the Indian team are playing the WTC final as they played it last year too against New Zealand where they suffered a loss.

Bowled! A bad judgement from Cheteshwar Pujara results in him losing his priced wicket! India totally on backfoot now. He leaves the ball, pitched outside off, but it sadly finds his stumps. India rocked by Aussie bowlers in second afternoon.
IND vs AUS WTC Final Day 2 LIVE: Tea Break
India in a pickle! They lose Rohit Sharma and then Boland knocks over Shubman Gill. Australian tail-enders hanged in for quite some time before their team got bowled out. This helped Aussies post a mammoth first innings total. The match, for now at least, is totally in favour of Australia. For now, India have a very slim chance of winning this match, and might go for a draw if 2 or more wickets fall in the post-tea session .
