On July 9, the Indian women’s team registered a six-wicket win over England in the fourth T20I at Manchester, taking a 3-1 lead in the five-match series.

The match also marked a historic moment for captain Harmanpreet Kaur, who matched an all-time appearance record previously held by Mithali Raj.

Harmanpreet Kaur has now played 333 international matches for India — the joint-highest for any Indian woman cricketer, equaling Mithali Raj. With one more appearance, she is set to become the most-capped player in Indian women’s cricket history.

The 36-year-old made her international debut on March 7, 2009.

In the fourth T20I, England, batting first, posted 126 for 7 in 20 overs. Opener Sophie Dunkley was the top scorer with 22 off 19 balls. On the bowling front for India, Radha Yadav impressed, taking 2 wickets for just 15 runs in her 4-over spell. Shreyanka Patil also chipped in with two crucial wickets.
