IND Vs WI 4th T20 Score Highlights: Gill, Jaiswal Help India Outplay West Indies By 9 Wickets

Jaiswal scored an unbeaten 84 runs while Gill made 77 before walking back to the pavilion.

The Indian team outplayed the West Indies by nine wickets in the fourth T20 International and leveled the five-match series 2-2 on Saturday.  It was class batting from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill which turned the game completely in India’s favour.  Jaiswal scored an unbeaten 84 runs while Gill made 77 before walking back to the pavilion.

Earlier, West Indies decided to bat first after winning the toss. It was Shimron Hetmyer (61) and Shai Hope (45) who starred with the bat and Odean Smith (15 not out) also contributed at the end, helping their side post a decent total of 178 for 8 in 20 overs. For India, Arshdeep Singh (3/38) and Kuldeep Yadav (2/26) scraped most of the wickets for India and tormented the West Indies batters.

In reply, India completely outclassed the West Indies bowlers with Yashasvi Jaiswal (84 not out) and Shubman Gill (77) forming a 165-run opening partnership to set up the win. Hardik Pandya’s Indian team played like a true champion today and with this win the series has become more thrilling and both teams would want to win the final and fifth T20I on Sunday.

Brief Score: West Indies: 178 for 8 in 20 overs (Shimron Hetmyer 61, Shai Hope 45; Arshdeep Singh 3/38, Kuldeep Yadav 2/26) lost to India: 179 for 1 in 17 overs (Yashasvi Jaiswal 84 not out, Shubman Gill 77, Romario Shepherd 1/35) by 9 wickets.
